Finch Bird Feeders

Goldfinch are one of the favorites of any backyard birdwatcher! Attracting them for most people is as easy as filling a finch feeder with thistle (or nyjer seed to be correct) and hanging it where you can see it. A bonus with thistle feeders is that 99% of the time you don't even have to worry about squirrels going after this seed so you don't even need a baffle.

Our favorite feature on these is the patented “Quick-Clean” base that can be removed without any tools. You just press the black buttons on both side to allow easy access to clean the bottom of the feeding area, which is very handy if any nyjer seed has gotten stuck there and needs to be removed.

These finch feeders can be used as is or with a seed tray or rain dome added to customize your feeder setup. A seed tray is always handy to catch seed or keep the tiny nyjer seed hulls from piling up on the ground below. A rain dome will help to keep the birds & seed dry during any inclement weather, which is especially important with the nyjer seed.
