Many of you know that when Jim isn't here at The Fat Robin, He is probably out somewhere behind his camera capturing images of birds, mammals, wildflowers and landscapes. What you may not know is that it is more than a hobby for him. It is a passion that he has pursued for the past 30 years! It was over 25 years ago that his first photograph was published, A Saw-Whet Owl in Audubon's Encyclapedia of North American Birds. Since then his photos have appeared in numerous books and calendars like Audubon and Greenpeace as well as magazines such as, National Geographic, GEO, Time, Wildbird and Birder's World to name a few. Every day a new photo is being published of Jim's somewhere. He maintains his own image files but has agents that represent him in New York and London because it is being in the field capturing images that he to spend his time.
Todays latest technology now allows Jim to produce custom prints of his images that exceed what was ever possible in the past. He does all his own custom printing himself so that he can maintain total control over the final product. His new state of the art printer produces archival prints that are rated to last longer than even traditional photographic prints. He is now selecting some of his best images from the many thousands in his files and producing archival custom prints from them.
